Transfers:
VIDEO FORMATS: VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV, Video8/Hi8
Send Out: Film (8/16mm), Beta
(We add 15 business days to send out transfers as we do not have the equipment to do these
formats in-house.)
AUDIO FORMATS: Vinyl, 1/4” tape, Cassettes, MicroCassettes
PHOTO FORMATS: Photos, Negatives, Slides
We also do digital photo restoration for damaged photographs
MISCELLANEOUS FORMATS: We can also transfer files from most phones and memory cards.
HOLIDAY NOTICE: Transfers ordered after November 1st are not guaranteed by Christmas.
File Upload Instructions:
SMALL GRAPHICS: If your file is 10MB in size or below you should be safe sending your files through email. You may email your graphic files to: Jon@BrightImagesMedia.com
LARGE GRAPHICS: With an file that is larger than 10MB in size, we recommend that you send your file(s) through WeTransfer.com
(When you land on WeTransfer.com you’ll most likely be greeted with an option to either use the FREE option or a PAID option. If you don’t already have an account with WeTransfer.com then click on ‘Take Me To Free’. The next page will have a module where you can add the file from your computer and then send to an email. You’ll also need to add your email underneath. Please send to Jon@BrightImagesMedia.com)
Other options like DropBox are fine if you prefer. Again, just use the email address above for allowing access to your file(s).
Graphics Specs
When sending graphics for print, please follow these specs below:
- 300 dpi/ppi (A setting for pixels when setting up your document)
- At least 1/8 inch of bleed (This is the area needed for trimming)
- File types accepted (.PDF, .PNG, .JPG, .GIF, .PSD, .AI, .TIFF, .EPS, & .DOCX)
NOTE: If you are sending us graphics for disc art, please do not knock out the artwork in the center hole or outside the outer circle. (Please send a square graphic to allow for bleed area)
